I wonder Joe, does the move to agentic development practices and ever improving LLM capability change your view? You say that the alternative is to hire iOS and Android developers. Well, that will soon be as simple as leveraging specialised AI agents. Arguably, we're already at that point.

Does the ability to maintain multiple repositories from a single Codex thread negate the challenges posed by maintaining multiple frameworks?

Negate the challenges? No. Reduce them? Definitely.

I think there will always be a need for specialized knowledge in development stacks. AI can have you build anything right now. But debugging across multiple platforms, App Store review, dealing with Apple/Google… I don’t see those difficulties changing anytime soon.
