Hotwire Native Office Hours

Every month I host an hour-long Zoom session for Hotwire Native developers to ask questions, share progress, and connect with others building the same way.

Each session is different. Some folks are just getting started and want to understand how Turbo, Stimulus, and native fragments all fit together. Others show up with very specific questions about authentication, deep links, or even NFC tags and Wallet passes.

Every session is different. We might dive into navigation patterns, push notifications, or even debugging version numbers in production apps. Someone always brings up something unexpected, and I almost always leave having learned something new myself.

That’s really what office hours are about: a chance to learn together. To see how other Rails developers are approaching mobile development, what patterns they’re using, and what’s working (or not) in real-world apps.

You don’t need to prepare slides or a perfect demo. Just bring a question, a problem, or even just curiosity about how others are building Hotwire Native apps. You can share your screen, drop a GitHub link, or sit back and listen in.

Sessions happen on the first Thursday of every month and last about an hour. Only paid newsletter subscribers get access to the live session. If you want to join next month’s office hours then consider becoming a paid subscriber.
